Vauxhall Electric Streets

What do you know about electric cars?

Are you hesitant to buy yours due to on-street parking and lack of charging available? These are just some of the questions we can answer in this bulletin.

Did you know the average cost of charging your electric car is just £9 for a full charge on your home charger? If you compare that to how much a full tank of fuel would cost, it's massive savings! A full charge will get you around 250 miles in comparison to the average 450 miles a full tank of fuel would get you.

Unfortunately, for those of us who don't have a driveway and have on-street parking, this can prevent us from buying our dream electric vehicle. 71.6% of UK councils have no published strategy for residential on-street charging. 69% of local authorities have yet to install on street charge points. Now, when you consider that from 2035, the sales of Petrol and Diesel cars will cease to exist, those figures are concerning.

You can be part of the movement that pushes these councils to get charger points installed. All you have to do is follow the below link to register your current or future needs.
